More than 30 Nobel laureates have urged world leaders through a letter to increase aid to Ukraine and not to recognize Putin as president. This is reported by T-Invariant.
Among those 39 people who signed the letter: Belarusian writer Svetlana Alekseevich, chairman of the organization “Center for Civil Liberties” Ukrainian Alexandra Matviychuk, Iranian human rights activist Shirin Ebadi and others.
The signatories recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin unleashed the war in Ukraine and is responsible for the death in prison of Alexei Navalny.
“The full-scale aggression against Ukraine and the murder of Alexei Navalny is taking the threat to a new level, as the Putin regime no longer sees any limits in its violation of human rights and international norms,” the letter says.
