A Crimean resident who poured green liquid into the transparent plastic ballot box on the day of illegal “elections” in Crimea is under arrest.
According to statements of the Russian investigation, a criminal case has been opened against her. The damage amounts to about 400 thousand rubles, while the ballots were allegedly not damaged, as they were “protected” by the processing complex.
The Crimean Tatar Resource Centre stresses the illegitimacy of such actions by Russia. The entire civilised world does not recognise the results of this “vote”.
Thus, parliamentarians from 20 countries made a statement that Russia’s holding of the so-called “elections” of the President in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine was a violation of international law and that the international community would never recognise their results.
