The Russian military, who took part in the war against Ukraine, will be given 676 more land plots in Crimea. This is reported by the Russian state news agency RIA Novosti, citing the Russia-controlled Minister of Property and Land Relations of Crimea Larisa Kulinich.

In the Saki district of Crimea, a new land mass of 676 plots has been prepared for Russian soldiers.

“A new land plot has been formed in Crimea to provide free land to the participants of the “SMO”. The array is located in the Shtormovskoye rural settlement of the Saksky district, near the village of Pryvitne and consists of 676 plots,” the statement said.

As a reminder, on 1 November 2023, a law was passed in Akyar (Sevastopol), according to which the parents of the fallen Russian soldiers have the right to receive a plot in Crimea. According to the document, family members of the deceased and fallen occupants who are entitled to a land plot will now include one of the parents, in the absence of a wife or children or their refusal to receive a plot. In addition, a place in the queue for family members of a deceased or killed soldier will be enshrined in law.
