Dilyaver Kurshutov was arrested for allegedly preparing an assassination attempt on the Russian «head» of Zaporizhzhya region, Yevhen Balitsky.
According to the investigation, Dilyaver Kurshutov cooperated with the so-called «curators in Kiev»: he was allegedly promised to pay €2 thousand for poisoning the military, and €10 thousand for a successful assassination attempt on the head of the region.
In addition to Kurshutov, Gennady and Olga Kapralov were detained and during the searches they were seized substances which, according to the Russian side, are used to create «chemical weapons of mass destruction». The Russian side accuses Ukraine of planning terrorist attacks with chemical weapons using an analog of the BZ chemical warfare agent.
Kurshutov is accused of violating Article 355 of the Russian Criminal Code («Development, production, accumulation, acquisition or sale of weapons of mass destruction») and Article 205 of the Russian Criminal Code («Terrorist act»).
«The chemicals were to be put in the canteen… in soup or juice,» Dilyaver Kurshutov said during interrogation.
