During the occupation of Crimea, 307 people prosecuted in criminal cases were recorded – CTRC

According to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, 307 political prisoners and those prosecuted in criminal cases were recorded during the occupation of Crimea, 206 of them are the representatives of the Crimean Tatar people. According to the CTRC, this category consists of 5 components depending on the status of the persecuted:

– sentenced and serve terms in a colonies (150, 99 – Crimean Tatars);

– have restrictions or on probation  (35, 20 – Crimean Tatars);

– in detention facilities (35, 26 – Crimean Tatars);

– released (54, 34 – Crimean Tatars);

– persecuted (33, 27 – Crimean Tatars).
