The occupiers held a rally for schoolchildren in honor of the anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the Nazis.

The event was attended by a deputy of the Russian-controlled Kherson Regional Duma, the head of the department of the veterans organization and the head of the youth policy department of the Henichesk Administration, as well as a veteran of military operations in the Chechen Republic, a volunteer of the Margelov battalion and members of the National Guard.

During the event, several students were initiated into the ranks of the Youth Army: they were given berets, badges and Youth Army certificates.
