A Crimean citizen was convicted of allegedly preparing sabotage at a substation in Kerch. This was reported by the press service of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Republic of Crimea and Aqyar (Sevastopol).
The man was detained in March 2023. During a search in his house, they allegedly found homemade explosive devices and means of communication with correspondence with a representative of the Ukrainian intelligence.
“In addition, on the instructions of the curator, the defendant persuaded his acquaintance, a local resident, to assist the special services of Ukraine in activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation”,- the FSB added.
In addition to serving his sentence in prison, he will be required to pay a fine of 400 thousand rubles.
