On Tuesday, January 16, political prisoners involved in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case Vilen Temeryanov and Renat Aliyev turned 39 and 60 years old, respectively. They are forced to celebrate their birthdays in a Russian pre-trial detention center, where they and other defendants in the case were illegally placed by the occupation authorities of the peninsula.
We remind you that the men were detained on August 11, 2022 after massive searches in the houses of Crimean Tatars. They were accused of participating in the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization. Now they are in a pre-trial detention center in Rostov-on-Don.
