Discussion has begun on a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation

EU countries have begun discussing the 13th package of sanctions against Russia. Bloomberg agency reports this.

New individuals and entities will be added to the sanctions list, new trade restrictions will be introduced, and additional measures will be introduced to combat sanctions evasion. According to the agency, it is known that the new package will be approved before February 24.

In September 2021, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center sent a sanctions list of 50 persons responsible for human rights violations in occupied Crimea to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Service of Security of Ukraine, as well as the embassies of the US, UK, Canada, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and the EU.
