Two Russian judges face 12 years in prison for the deportation of Ukrainians from Crimea. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
It is known that after the occupation of the peninsula, the defendants began working in the Yevpatoriia city court, despite the fact that they knew for sure that since 2014, citizens of Ukraine living in Crimea have the status of persons protected by international humanitarian law.
“Contrary to this, they decided to expel Ukrainians from Crimea”,- the message says.
The identities of the judges are not mentioned, but an anonymous official told Crimea.Realities that we are talking about Ruslan Izmailov and Aleksey Nanarov.
