A Crimean citizen was arrested for allegedly writing “Glory to Ukraine” in his passport

The Alushta city court sentenced a Crimean citizen to 12 days of arrest for allegedly signing his passport with the phrase Glory to Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the occupation court, writes RIA News Crimea.

It is known that in the Russian passport, in the personal signature column, the man allegedly wrote Glory to Ukraine. In other documents, in the same column, the man put the same signature.

Russian media claim that the man allegedly apologized and asked for a fine. He was convicted under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.

“At the court session, the person involved noted that he deeply repented of what he had done. He signed the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation because of an emotional outburst”,- the message says.
