The FSB announced the discovery of an agent network that was allegedly planning to assassinate Sergei Aksenov and Vladimir Konstantinov. This was reported by the Russian media RIA News.
“The activities of a deeply clandestine, extensive intelligence network of the Ukrainian special services, created … to commit high-profile acts of sabotage and terrorism against representatives of government bodies, military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces and the FSB, as well as transport and energy infrastructure of the peninsula, have been suppressed”,- the message says.
According to them, the targets were the Head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov, the chairman of the parliament of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov and the mayor of Yalta Yanina Pavlenko.
