Russains are going to build a center for unmanned aerial systems in Akyar

In Aqyar (Sevastopol), the construction of a research and production center for unmanned aerial systems is planned for 2026. This was announced by Sergei Dudnikov, Vice-Rector for Innovation at Sevastopol State University, in a commentary to TASS.

“This center will produce special UAVs that can operate. In 2026, we will already receive funding from the federal and regional budgets for the creation of this center”,- he said.

The Russians are going to produce transport UAVs of an original design from Russian components.

“We have an industrial partner – T-Crimea, which has production sites, and we are preparing people for the fact that production will begin relatively soon”,- said the vice-rector.

According to him, there are already applications for new drones.
