Zarema Bariieva voiced proposals and recommendations for promoting the Ukrainian issue in Turkey

Manager of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center Zarema Bariieva took part in the event on the topic: Inside Ukraine. How does Ukrainian civil society struggle, survive and succeed under war conditions?, held on November 29 by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation in Turkey.

During her speech, Zarema Bariieva spoke about the role of the Crimean Tatar people in relations with Turkey, the situation of the indigenous people in Crimea, the hybrid deportation of the Crimean Tatars from their historical homeland, the struggle of the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar people for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, the information and advocacy work of the Crimean Tatar Resource  Center both in Ukraine and internationally, starting from 2014.

In addition, the CTRC manager voiced proposals and recommendations for the Turkish establishment, which today can be implemented in Turkey to promote the Ukrainian issue in the country.

“I would like to express my deep gratitude to all researchers, analysts and young scientists in Turkey for their interest in the topic of the Russian-Ukrainian war and the role of Ukrainian civil society in the victory over the global serial occupier”,- she noted.
