Scientist Vladyslav Kryvyy, kidnapped by the occupiers, was sentenced to 12 years in prison. This was reported by the KKE with reference to relatives.
According to the KKE, Vladislav was first held in the dungeons of the occupied Kherson region, then kept in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center in Moscow, after which the FSB opened a case under Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (espionage).
He was kidnapped by the Russians in April 2022 in Kherson. The occupiers claim that Vladyslav Kryvyy is a citizen of Ukraine, was an agent of the SSU, and in the spring of 2022 received the task of collecting data on Russian military equipment in territory controlled by the Russian Federation.
The details of the case were not disclosed because it was classified as secret.
The Lefortovo court in Moscow sent Vladyslav Kryvyy under arrest. Later, the Kherson resident was transferred to Simferopol.
