Not because we represent the interests of our country, but because in terms of numbers and impunity, it was Russian journalists who found themselves at the forefront of this injustice”,- the Crimea24 telegram channel writes about this with reference to the so-called press secretary of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
Russian officials have repeatedly made absurd statements to the Alliance member states, and this statement is one of many. Thus, the Russian authorities are trying, using the fool himself principle, to avert their eyes from their own crimes against media representatives. Dozens of journalists were persecuted in occupied Crimea alone.
In turn, in NATO countries there is no bias against representatives of the journalistic profession, regardless of what country the journalists represent. However, official Russian journalists in fact are not such, because they violate all written and unwritten rules and codes of conduct for media representatives.
