Dmitry Tolstenko, an associate professor at the Crimean Federal University, was detained for his “pro-Ukrainian position.” This was reported in the Crimean SMERSH telegram channel, authored by the pro-Russian blogger and informer Talipov.
According to security officials, Tolstenko allegedly distributed pro-Ukrainian symbols on his social networks and published videos in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
