After 14 days of administrative arrest, lawyer Aleksey Ladin was released.
“It is clear to me that this court decision has nothing to do with any legality or jurisprudence, because I did not post any extremist materials on social networks. I want to say thank you to everyone who supported me – the support is very felt and very important”,- said Ladin.
The lawyer was detained on October 13. During a search, lawyer Alexey Ladin was seized with case documents that contained attorney-client privilege, thus violating it. He was arrested for allegedly placing extremist symbols: the case involves a drawing with a trident and a Crimean Tatar Tamga with the words not broken, we are not terrorists, we are not extremists. He was also fined 45 thousand rubles for allegedly discrediting the Russian army due to a post on Facebook that included the inscription cluster bombs are a war crime.
