On Sunday, October 22, the Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, a member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Eskender Bariiev, the Chairman of Mejlis, Refat Chubarov, as well as a member of the Mejlis, Hayana Yuksel, met with the Ambassador of Turkey to the Czech Republic, Mr. Egemen Bagish, the first adviser to Mrs. Banu Malaman and the third secretary Mr. Burak Küçükoglu.
The interlocutors discussed the current situation in Ukraine, in particular in Crimea, and Turkey’s role in supporting Ukraine.
In addition, members of the Mejlis took part in a gala dinner with the President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, and today they are working within the framework of the Second Parliamentary Summit of the Crimean Platform, in which parliamentarians from many countries of the world take part.
