NATO in the media of occupied Crimea: The headquarters with NATO special forces was destroyed in the Bakhmut direction

October 18, 2023

“In the Bakhmut direction, the headquarters with NATO special forces was destroyed, Polish speech can be heard on the air”,- this fake was spread by the publication FEED OF NEWS CRIMEA with reference to the publication Tsargrad, which belongs to the oligarch Konstantin Malofeev, who was involved in the preparation of the operation to seize Crimea in 2014.

This fake is another demonstration that the narrative about NATO mercenaries and NATO instructors is one of the key ones in Russian propaganda.

Information about the allegedly destroyed headquarters, where NATO special forces were located, has no confirmation and is not found anywhere except in Russian publications.

The concept of NATO special forces and NATO army does not exist. There are special forces units of individual member states of the Alliance.

The information about the Polish mercenaries who were allegedly at the headquarters at the time of the attack also has no basis.

Volunteers from different countries of the world actually fight in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but they are all part of Ukrainian units. None of the security forces of any of the North Atlantic Alliance states is participating in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

We remind you that the Crimean Tatar Resource Center continues the column NATO in the media of occupied Crimea, the purpose of which is to track fake information in temporarily occupied Crimea about the values, goals and current activities of NATO and to refute this information.

Friends, how do you find this fake? Would you believe it?
