“It seems that Russia is being left with less and less choice other than direct conflict with NATO, which has turned into an openly fascist bloc like Hitler’s Axis, albeit of a larger size. We are ready, although the result will be achieved at much greater cost to humanity than in 1945…”,– this is how Russian ex-President Dmitry Medvedev is quoted by the occupation telegram channel CRIMEA NEWS FEED.
This quote is an illustration of the tired narrative Ukraine is equal to Nazism, Nazism is equal to NATO.
Medvedev should be reminded that in 1949, NATO included primarily states that suffered from the crimes of Nazism – Great Britain, France, Norway, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, etc. States such as the USA and Great Britain were the key states of the anti-Hitler coalition that saved the Soviet Union from defeat.
As for the direct conflict with NATO, the Kremlin’s intention, on the one hand, to raise the degree of tension, and on the other, to at least somehow justify the failures in the war with Ukraine, is evident here.
We remind you that the only state that resembles the Nazi one is Russia.
We remind you that the Crimean Tatar Resource Center continues the column NATO in the media of occupied Crimea, which aims to track fake information in temporarily occupied Crimea about the values, goals and current activities of NATO and refute this information.
Friends, how do you like this fake? Would you believe it?
