For more than 9 years, the whereabouts of young Crimean Tatars kidnapped in Crimea – Islyam Dzhepparov and his cousin Dzhevdet Islyamov have remained unknown.
On September 27, 2014, in the village of Sary-Su near Bilohirsk, unknown persons forced the children into a car and drove them away in an unknown direction.
The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea opened a criminal case on the grounds of the crime provided for in clause a, g, part 2 of Art. 126 of the Criminal Code of Russia (kidnapping committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy against two or more persons), but to this day there is no information about the missing.
The General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine opened a case on the grounds of a criminal offense under Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unlawful deprivation of liberty or kidnapping of a person committed against two or more persons or by prior conspiracy by a group of persons).
We remind you that according to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, during the entire period of the occupation of Crimea, 21 victims of forced disappearances were recorded during the period of occupation of Crimea, 15 of whom were representatives of the Crimean Tatar people.
