On Thursday, August 31, the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting during the meeting appointed a representative in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
The lawyer of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center Volodymyr Liashenko became the representative.
As you know, Volodymyr was born in the Crimea, but after 2014 he was forced to leave the peninsula.
“I speak as a person who has lived in Crimea almost all his life. Unfortunately, during the actual 10 years of occupation, the actual destruction of the Ukrainian information field on the territory of Crimea took place. In order to return Crimea informationally, we will have to make a lot of efforts that need to be prepared now”,- Volodymyr Liashenko noted.
The expert noted that it is necessary to identify those broadcasters that are currently operating in Crimea and transfer certain materials on them to law enforcement agencies so that Ukraine can now begin legal procedures to terminate their activities and impose sanctions.
Congratulations to Volodymyr on his new position!
We continue to work on the de-occupation and reintegration of Crimea.
