On the occasion of the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center presents a new video “PROTECT THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLES OF UKRAINE – SAVE UKRAINE!”, which briefly tells about this day, the indigenous peoples of Ukraine, their distinctive features and position.
As a reminder, the International Day of the World’s Indigenous People is celebrated annually on 9 August. There are about 476 million indigenous people, living in 70 countries across the world.
There are 3 indigenous peoples in Ukraine: Crimean Tatars, Karaites and Krymchaks. We must realize that our wealth is in diversity and contribute to the protection of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine.
