At least 8 journalistic and human rights organizations came out in support of journalists Kulamet Ibraimov and Lutfiie Zudiieva. It is reported by the Crimean Solidarity.
The organizations demands to drop all the charges against journalists, release IbraImov immediately, cancel the fine of Zudiieva , and to stop persecution of media representatives in Crimea.
Organizations that have expressed support include:
Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ, USA);
European Federation of Journalists (EFJ, Belgium);
Reporters Without Borders (France);
National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU, Ukraine);
European Center for Press and Media Freedom (Germany);
International Foundation for the Defense of Human Rights Defenders (FLD, Ireland);
Women in journalism (Women in journalism, Austria);
Council of Europe for Media Freedom.
In addition, a broad coalition of Ukrainian human rights organizations came out in defense of journalists.
