Political prisoners Oleh Fedorov and Ernest Ibrahimov were sentenced despite the evidence of the defense in favor of the innocence of the Crimean Tatars. It is reported by the Crimean Solidarity.
The defense pointed out that the conclusions of the phonographic examination did not correspond to reality: there was no Fedorov’s voice on the recordings that the experts examined. However, the court in Vlasikha refused to accept and study it. There were also violations in the conduct of the linguistic and religious examination, since it was taken from the case of the second Bakhchisaray group. Also, the operational officer himself made another mistake: he translated the phrase from the conversation koziumden chikty not as lost trust, but as knocked out an eye.
“The defendants conveyed to the Jemaat words of gratitude for their support, huge mudflows and said that their fate is in the hands of the Almighty and they rely only on his mercy”,- lawyer Lilia Hemedzhi added.
We remind you that on February 17, Russian security forces conducted seven searches in the homes of Crimean Tatars in Bilohirsk, Bakhchysarai, Simferopol, Sevastopol and the Sovietskyy district of the occupied Crimea. The detainees are charged with article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The Kyiv District Court and the Lenin District Court chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention for the detained Crimean Tatars – Ernest Ibrahimov, Tymur Yalkabov, Azamat Eiupov, Oleh Fedorov, Lenur Seidametov and Yashar Shykhametov.
On May 30, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don requested 15 to 16 years in prison for defendants in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case, Ernest Ibrahimov and Oleh Fedorov.
