On Tuesday, July 11, 54-year-old Crimean Tatar Alim Veliliaiev was detained in the village of Rykove in the Henichesk district. He is accused of violating Art. 208. Criminal Code of the Russian Federation Organization of an illegal armed group or participation in it.
The FSB claims that in 2015-2016 he was a member of an illegal armed group operating on the territory of Ukraine, whose activities are prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation.
It is noted that the man guarded the Chonhar checkpoint, where he blocked the passage of vehicles delivering consumer goods for residents of the Republic of Crimea.
Alim Veliliaiev was chosen as a measure of restraint in the form of detention.
