The heads of the airlines Russia and Nordwind Airlines received suspicion from the prosecutor’s office

The prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea informed the general directors of Russian airlines of suspicion because of unauthorized flights to the occupied Crimea.

From 2017 to 2022, more than 10 thousand flights were made from the territory of the Russian Federation to Crimea.

They are accused of violating Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine). They face up to 9 years in prison.

The names of the suspects are not called, however, according to information from open sources, we are talking about the former general directors of Rossiya and Nordwind Airlines Sergey Aleksandrovsky and Igor Shvetsov.
