Many WIAs from Henichesk district were transferred to Crimea – Bariiev

June 28, 2023

Eskender Bariiev, the Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, told the News Channel 24 that the Russians have become more active in Crimea: they are now bringing equipment and their wounded soldiers there.

In particular, many Russians were injured during the attack on the Express recreation center on the Arabat Arrow.

“They are bringing WIAs and KIAs there. And the equipment that is in the south of mainland Ukraine is being sent to Zaporizhzhia and Melitopol directions,” Bariiev explained.

Instead, damaged or broken equipment is sent to Crimea to be repaired or replaced if possible.
