Sergei Aksyonov said that in the Kirovs district of the peninsula, damage to the railway lines was noticed.
“Repair work will take approximately 4 to 8 hours”,- he said.
According to Russian authorities, there were no casualties, but the cause of the damage was not reported. Some Russian media claim that the cause could be an explosion, which caused the first car of a freight train to leave the tracks.
