Eskender Bariiev, the Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, said the News Channel 24 that liberation of Crimea is the collapse of Putin’s regime.
According to the expert, Crimea and the Crimean bridge are symbolic places for a dictator. It is possible that Crimea may be liberated before the rest of Ukraine. And when the deoccupation takes place, the pro-Ukrainian population of the peninsula will quickly drive the occupiers out of Crimea.
“It is no coincidence that the occupiers are increasingly creating conditions to persecute our people. There have been many searches and arrests in recent months. In addition, there is now information that Putin has stepped up repressive actions against people who have different opinions,” the human rights activist stressed.
