Eskender Bariiev, the Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, told in an interview with FREEDOM TV channel what to do with Russians after the deoccupation of Crimea.

“We are confident that Russia will try to leave the fifth column in Crimea… It is crucial for us to fully register all people in Crimea and hand them a temporary document in order to fully identify all the people who are there. So that Ukrainian law enforcement agencies can fully register these people,” he said.

The next step, according to the expert, should be the deportation of all those who are in Crimea illegally.

“We realize that we will not be able to take everyone out at once. Therefore, everyone who is in Crimea will be registered and, in accordance with the procedure, in accordance with international law, in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine, everyone who is illegally in Crimea will be expelled from Crimea,” Bariiev concluded.
