Eskender Bariiev, the Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, said in an interview with the Hromadske Radio, that in the occupied Crimea, Russians have recently been going through markets and businesses and putting pressure on them.

According to him, the occupiers are trying to install more cameras along the railway line so that the guerrilla movement cannot disrupt their logistics system. They ban the use of cameras that are not under their control.

“They have been going through markets and businesses lately and putting pressure on them. Like racketeers, they try to get some household items or food or money from them. They are trying to put pressure on people, to monitor people who do not want to service representatives of the so-called ‘SMO’ or those who order Russian songs,” Bariiev explained.
