Tetiana Podvorniak, Communications Manager of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, spoke about the #LIBERATECRIMEA information campaign in an interview with Promin Radio.
“This campaign is aimed at raising awareness of the Ukrainian population about the situation in Crimea, the indigenous peoples of Ukraine, their history and culture. We use various methods: social media storms, board campaigns, videos, tests etc.,” she stressed.
Tetiana explained about the test on the topic: “What do you know about the Day of Remembrance of the victims of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people?”, which the Crimean Tatar Resource Center launched on the eve of the 79th anniversary of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people.
“Every Ukrainian can test their knowledge of this event by answering 10 questions. In addition, we are actively cooperating with the Ministry of Education, and this test is available on their resources. We advise all teachers in schools to use our test in lessons and events dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the victims of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people,” the Manager added.
