Unfortunately, the situation on the left bank of the Kherson region remains critical. The occupiers have abandoned people to their fate and are not carrying out any evacuation.
It is known that a plan is being developed to save people on the occupied left bank of the Kherson region.
As the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko stated, in the Kherson region, the work on evacuation continues, the work of the headquarters, which also works in the Mykolayiv, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions, has been deployed. According to him, the evacuation work is hindered by a strong current, as well as shelling from the occupiers.
We remind you that the destruction of the dam and structures of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station by the Russian aggressor is an undoubted act of state terrorism and at the same time a war crime that encroaches on both the most important critical infrastructure and water supplies for the population and economy. Moreover, these actions are an act of genocide aimed at deliberately creating living conditions for the ethnic Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar population of the left bank of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, which are designed for the complete or partial destruction of these ethnic groups.
We call on international humanitarian organizations to immediately intervene and help save the lives of people whom Russians left in the lurch.
