Kremlin political prisoner Volodymyr Yakymenko from Kherson was transferred to a punishment cell for a long time due to disobedience. The administration of correctional colony 4 in Pugachev (Russia) is forcing political prisoner Volodymyr Yakymenko to work for the Russian economy.
Because of his refusal to work for the Russian economy, Kremlin captive Volodymyr Yakymenko was placed in a punishment cell for a long time. This was reported by the Center for Human Rights.
“It is reported that the prisoner of the Kremlin systematically suffers from harassment in the colony. At the beginning of this year, he received reprimands for refusing to work for the aggressor country, for which he was placed in a detention chamber several times for 5 and 10 days. He was repeatedly forced to sign a renunciation of Ukrainian citizenship and tried to recruit him into the ranks of the combat units of the Russian army”,- the Center for Human Rights notes.
This time, Volodymyr Yakymenko was placed in isolation for 15 days, and this period expired on May 29, but the administrative penalty was extended until June 8.
We remind you that on June 11, 2017, Ukrainian Volodymyr Yakymenko was detained when he crossed the administrative border with the occupied Crimea. The man was charged with drug trafficking. A Kremlin-controlled court in Crimea sentenced him to 15.5 years in prison under Art. 229.1 part 4, part 3, art. 30 part 5 art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
