The Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia refused to name the diagnosis that journalist Iryna Danylovych was given. It is reported by the Crimean Solidarity.
“In the written consent of the accused Danylovych to the disclosure of information about her state of health, the medical documents do not contain your full name. More detailed information about the provision of medical assistance to her, her state of health and diagnosis <…> are not subject to disclosure”,- the document, which is at the disposal of the Crimean Solidarity, says.
It is noted that Danylovych is under dynamic observation of the staff of the medical unit No. 91. According to the father of the political prisoner, Bronislav Danylovych, the administration of the pre-trial detention center claims that Danylovych allegedly does not allow her diagnosis to be disclosed, which does not coincide with what she said at the last meeting with her father: there she stated that she consented to the disclosure of her diagnosis.
“I am ready to hang a sign over my head that I allow it”,- said Iryna Danylovych
Danylovych’s father was also not told the diagnosis.
“In fact, no one has fully examined her. I know one thing – my daughter will soon become disabled”,- he added.
On the last date, Danylovych spoke of constant noise and pain in her ears”,- as if she were in a turbojet engine.
“Where before it was enough for her to read the line once to catch the essence, now she has to do it five times. If he suddenly turns his head sharply, the movement responds with terrible pain. And so for the seventh month. Even at the trial, she stated that she had pain in her ears, then an ambulance was called, but nothing was done about it. The judge continued the process”,- the father explained.
This week he was denied a visit with his daughter.
Recall that on April 29, in the occupied Crimea in the village of Vladyslavivka near Feodosiia, Russian security forces searched the house of civilian journalist Iryna Danylovych, after which the woman was detained.
On March 22, Iryna Danylovych went on a dry hunger strike until she was provided with normal medical treatment or until her death. She took this step in protest against the bullying of her by the administration of the pre-trial detention center because of the failure to provide medical assistance.
On April 4, the management of the pre-trial detention center promised to provide Iryna with an opportunity to undergo an examination, after which the activist stopped her hunger strike, but so far she has not been provided with any treatment.
