Earthquake strikes again in Turkey

On Monday, February 20, a new earthquake of magnitude 6.4 struck Turkey with its epicenter in the Gulf of Hatay. The depth of the earthquake was 16.74 km. At least three people died and 294 were injured.

Recall that on February 6, 2023, a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 points occurred in the southeast of Turkey and in Syria. It has become the most powerful since 1939.

The team of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center expresses its sincere condolences to Turkey, to the entire Turkish people, as well as to the families of the victims in connection with the tragic consequences of large-scale earthquakes. After all, these earthquakes have already claimed the lives of 45 thousand people.
