On Thursday, February 2, the FSB detained a resident of Sevastopol for allegedly participating in the Crimean Tatar volunteer battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan.
“A Crimean in 2016 voluntarily joined the armed formation operating on the territory of Ukraine – the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion”. The suspect actively participated in the activities of the formation”,- the occupants said in a statement.
Other details are not yet known.
We remind you that since 2014, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center has recorded 23 detentions on charges of participation in the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion: 8 in the occupied Crimea, 15 in the occupied Kherson region after February 24, 2022.
