Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev, in an interview with the FREEDOM TV channel, said that Putin’s mobilization in Crimea continues, so it is dangerous to return to the Russian-occupied peninsula.
According to him, the raids related to the mobilization are taking place in places densely populated by Crimean Tatars. Such a raid was carried out by the occupants in the Bilohirsk region of Crimea.
“They enter, they can break the gate. They begin to interview people, they are interested in how many adults live, what equipment they have, what is in the house. Next, they begin to find out information about the neighbors. And another raid is carried out by people who have a list. It is called List of Persons Avoiding Service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The list of persons of Crimean Tatar ethnicity to be wanted,– said the Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.
From this, according to him, we can conclude that the occupiers continue to mobilize and search for those liable for military service.
“We are trying to warn people about this. If there is such a list in Bilohirsk, it has become available to us, then such lists may be in other regions. At least in the Simferopol district, in the Bakhchysarai district, where Crimean Tatars also live compactly”,- says Eskender Bariiev.
