On April 7, a resident of the village of Soniachna Dolyna near Sudak desecrated the grave of a soldier who died during the war in Ukraine. She was sentenced to two years in a colony-settlement. This was reported by the Crimean telegram channels.

“A resident of the village of Sonyachna Dolyna, Sudak urban district, was taken into custody by the Sudak City Court of the Republic of Crimea until May 8, 2022. On April 7, 2022, while at the cemetery of the village of Sonyachna Dolyna, she desecrated the burial place of a serviceman who died during a special military operation”,- the press service of the Sudak City Court said in a statement.
A criminal case was initiated against the woman under paragraph b of part 2 of article 244 of the Criminal Code of Russia (desecration of burial places motivated by political hatred).
The occupant sentenced a resident of the village of Soniachna Dolyna to two years in a colony-settlement. She will also have to pay compensation to the family of the deceased during the war, whose grave she desecrated.
