The Russian occupiers illegally created a branch of the Youtharmy in Henichesk, Kherson region. This was stated by the so-called head of the Kherson regional headquarters of the Yunarmiya Serafym Ivanov.
“We will be engaged in military-patriotic training for children of the Kherson region, preserving historical memory, and also holding a lot of interesting and positive events. Our key task is to prepare young people and children for adulthood, for the many challenges that are happening in the world today, so that the children of the Kherson region develop fully and multifaceted”,- he said.
Ivanov added that each member of the movement is provided, and there are already 5 of them, access to many exciting events, opportunities to study technique and play sports on the basis of CSKA and DOSAAF. In Henichesk, a founding conference was held and a meeting was held with the leadership of the Youtharmy, federal delegates, as well as children from the Donetsk People's Republic.
But at the same time, the occupants are taking children from the Kherson region to the territory of the Russian Federation or to the occupied Crimea.
According to Yaroslav Yanushevych, head of the Kherson RMA, the Russians abducted 46 children from the Kherson regional orphanage. And as it became known to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center earlier, the occupiers brought 1939 children aged 6 to 18 years from Kherson and Zaporizhzhia to the occupied Crimea without warm clothes and shoes. The children are now in Yevpatoriia.
