De-occupation of Crimea depends on the activity of the civilized world – Bariiev

February 14, 2022

The head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, the head of the Department for Legal and Foreign Affairs of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Eskender Bariiev, in an interview with the Portuguese TV channel SIC Notícias, spoke about when the de-occupation of Crimea will take place.

“The history of the Crimean Tatars is very difficult, but for all that, such a history should probably be proud of. We do not want the collapse of the Russian Federation. We wish that the Russian Federation, and the Russian people, finally begin to understand that it is necessary to give the opportunity to live in peace to the neighbors, to live in peace to all other people”,- the expert emphasized.

Bariiev is confident that Crimea will return and that it will be free. But when this happens, everything depends, first of all, according to the expert, on the activity of the civilized world, including the Portuguese.
