The occupiers upheld the verdict on Konstantin Shiringa

The Third Court of Appeal in Sochi upheld the sentence of Ukrainian Konstantin Shiringa , who was previously sentenced to 12 years in prison for allegedly spying for Kyiv (Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

We remind you that on April 15, 2020, Russian security forces detained alleged members of the Ukrainian reconnaissance and sabotage group, which allegedly included Russian serviceman Tatiana Kuzmenko and a Ukrainian citizen  Konstantin Shiringa . The latter was accused of carrying out espionage activities on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services. On October 15, the so-called Supreme Court of Crimea sentenced Ukrainian  Konstantin Shiringa to 12 years for allegedly spying for Kyiv (Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
