The so-called Supreme Court of the occupied Crimea upheld fines for Crimean Tatar activists Lilia Liumanova, Elvina Azizova, Zarema Nimetulaieva, Mustafa Bekirov, Shevket Keliamov and Zuliara Ibrahimova for participating in mass meetings. It was reported by the Crimean solidarity public association.
It is noted that the judge who announced the decision was recently deprived of judicial status for drunk driving and a conflict with traffic police officers. The defense pointed this out in court, adding that the representative of the law behaved inappropriately and yelled at women.
“The Supreme Court did not pay attention to this and confirmed the decision of the court of first instance against Liumanova and other Crimean Tatar activists”,- the report said.
