Underage activist fined in occupied Crimea

January 20, 2022

The occupants found the underage activist, the son of political prisoner Amar Abdulgaziev, guilty under Article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Organization of mass simultaneous stay and (or) movement of citizens in public places that violated public order) and fined him 10,000 rubles. It was reported by the Crimean solidarity public association.

The son of a political prisoner, a defendant in the so-called Hizb ut-Tahrir case, Tofik Abdulgaziev, Amar, was fined 10,000 rubles for participating in mass events. It is noted that the mother of the young man was also found guilty of insufficient control over a minor, but it was limited to a warning.

We remind you that on October 14, 2021, Russian security forces detained 16-year-old civic journalist Amar Abdulgaziev near the building of the so-called Crimean garrison military court. An administrative protocol was drawn up against him for smoking in the wrong place.
