On Wednesday, October 20, Russian security officials came to the house of activist Olga Smirnova, who took part in pickets in support of the Crimean Tatars. She is accused of justifying terrorism. Human rights activist Irina Yatsenko reported this via Facebook.

“In St. Petersburg, Olga Smirnova, a civil activist of the Peaceful Resistance, was searched within the case of justifying terrorism. The door to Smirnova's apartment was kicked out by riot policemen”,- the message said.

It is noted that pickets in support of the Crimean Tatars became the reason for initiating the case.
