Bariiev presented Dunja Mijatović “Analysis of the situation in the occupied Crimea as of 2020”

On Thursday, July 1, a non-public meeting of the Head of the Board of the CTRC Eskender Bariiev and lawyers with the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatović was held in an online format. The interlocutors discussed the human rights situation in the occupied Crimea.

Bariiev presented to Dunja Mijatović the study of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center "Analysis of the situation in the occupied Crimea as of 2020", in which the experts of the CTRC revealed the main trends, dynamics and the number of offenses on the peninsula during the occupation of Crimea.

The expert also paid attention to the environmental problems of Crimea, presenting in electronic format:

The report on the topic "The Impact of the Irrational Policy of the Russian Federation  on the Water Balance of Crimea", which was sent to the UNHCR office, which contains detailed information on how inexpediently the occupiers use water on the peninsula.
