The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the occupied Crimea has refused to hand over the body of Nabi Rakhimov, whom Russian security officials killed on May 11 during a search, for 46 days. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.
“Lawyer Siiar Panych sent complaints to the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and to the prosecutor's office against the actions of specialists who have been conducting a forensic medical examination of the body of Muslim Nabi Rakhimov, who was killed by security forces during his arrest, for 46 days”,- the message said.
We remind that on May 11, in the occupied Crimea, in the village of Zavitne, Russian security forces came to the house of Nabi Rakhimov. His wife and two children were in the house. The woman, Sokhiba Burkhanova, was taken to the migration department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Sovietsky district. A protocol was drawn up against the woman for violating the regime of residence in the Russian Federation.
