President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin reacted to the law of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy On the Indigenous Peoples of Ukraine, stating that it is ridiculous to call Russians a non-indigenous people of Ukraine. It was reported by the Interfax-Ukraine media agency.
Putin noted that calling the Russians a non-indigenous people of Ukraine is ridiculous, stupid, and these statements are absolutely inconsistent with historical facts.
“In general, the division itself into indigenous, first-class categories of people, second-class, and so on – it definitely looks like it, resembles the theory and practice of Nazi Germany”,- he said.
We remind that earlier the State Duma of Russia also called on the international community to condemn the bill of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy On the Indigenous Peoples of Ukraine, since due to this initiative, “millions of Russians, hundreds of thousands of Belarusians and Moldovans” are deprived of the right to consider themselves indigenous Ukraine.
